The benefits of grey kitchen doors
Grey kitchen doors are a great choice for those who want a timeless colour for their kitchen doors. Grey is a neutral colour with a varied range of shades, which means you can easily find a shade that suits the style you are looking for. In addition, it is a colour that does not take over, but instead leaves room for other interior details to take place. Here you can read about the different shades of grey that are available on our kitchen doors and what kind of atmosphere they create. Hopefully, you will find a shade that suits your needs.
Superfront also offers a variety of kitchen doors in other colours. Here you will find beige kitchen doors, blue kitchen doors, white kitchen doors, black kitchen doors, green kitchen doors and wooden kitchen doors.
Grey kitchen doors from Superfront
At Superfront, you will find grey kitchen doors in different shades where you are guaranteed to find a colour that suits your style. Here we tell you more about the different grey colours available in our range of kitchen doors. You can either choose kitchen doors for Metod or kitchen doors for Faktum.
Ashton Grey is a completely neutral, light grey colour inspired by the ashes of an extinguished fire. It is so subtle that in some lights it almost appears white. A good choice for those who want a light but not white kitchen with doors in a shade that is neither warm nor cool.
Desert Sand is a light grey-beige colour for those who prefer slightly warmer shades of greige. A timeless and elegant colour that harmonises well with natural materials such as wood, stone and leather.
If you want a more vibrant feel in your kitchen, you can choose doors in Thunder Wood – a grey stained wood veneer where the beautiful grain of the wood shines through and gives the doors a natural pattern. As wood is a living material, its colour, grain and texture can vary, bringing life to your kitchen and creating an exclusive feel.
At Superfront, we also have a variety of kitchen doors in other colours. Here you will find beige kitchen doors, green kitchen doors, white kitchen doors, blue kitchen doors and black kitchen doors.
Grey kitchen cupboard doors and choice of materials
When choosing materials for your grey kitchen, it's good to think about the overall style you want for your kitchen and the atmosphere you want to create. If you're looking for a warm and inviting feel, brass details may be right for you. If you want a modern and cooler feel, silver-coloured details are better. And if you want a more dramatic and contrasting feel, black details are a good choice. Below we list some things to keep in mind when choosing materials for your grey kitchen:
Brass details add a warm and inviting feel to your grey kitchen. Brass brings an elegant and sophisticated aesthetic to the room and suits those with a more traditional or vintage style of interior. Brass can also act as an accent colour and bring life to an otherwise neutral kitchen.
Silver coloured details give a modern and cool feel to your grey kitchen. If you want a modern aesthetic, you can combine your grey kitchen doors with chrome, steel or aluminium details. The cool metals are neutral, making them easy to match with other colours and materials.
Black details can add a dramatic and contrasting effect to your grey kitchen, which suits homes with a modern aesthetic. Black details are a good choice for those who want a kitchen with a minimalist design where the handles take centre stage.
Another benefit of a grey kitchen is that you have many choices when it comes to worktops. If you choose a light and discreet grey colour for the doors, you can choose a worktop that takes up space, such as a stone worktop with a lot of character. Whereas if you choose kitchen doors in a dark colour or with an eye-catching pattern, you can instead choose a more discreet wooden worktop, or a monochrome stone or composite worktop to not steal the show from the kitchen doors.
How to order grey cupboard doors from Superfront
You can either replace the kitchen doors of an existing kitchen or design a kitchen from scratch with our kitchen doors that fit Ikea frames. If you're replacing existing kitchen doors, it's important that you first find out whether you have a Metod or Faktum kitchen. Faktum is Ikea's older frame and Metod is the newest frame. The advantage of changing the doors is that you get the impression of a new kitchen without having to do a full-scale renovation, which is both more costly and time-consuming. However, if you are buying a new kitchen, you can order the frames from Ikea and then order the kitchen doors and other accessories from us. You can either make your choices and order the kitchen yourself, or get help from our kitchen designers. The service costs €85/£65 and is then deducted from the total order amount.
