How colour temperature affects the feel of a grey kitchen
Colour temperature is an important factor to consider when choosing a grey colour for your kitchen. Grey can have a warm or cold tone, which affects the feel and mood of the room. Choosing the right shade of grey can be crucial to creating the feeling you're looking for in your kitchen.
Warm grey colours have a yellow or red undertone which creates a soft and warm feeling in the room. Warm grey can be a good choice if you want a kitchen that feels inviting and homely. Cool grey colours have a blue or green undertone which gives a more stylish and modern impression.
In addition to the shade of grey you choose, other materials also affect the feel of the kitchen. Materials such as wood, leather, brass and copper add warmth and softness as opposed to materials such as chrome, black and marble which give a more austere and minimalistic impression. Among our furniture legs, knobs and handles there is a large variety of designs and colours where you will surely find unique details that give the kitchen the feel you are looking for.
Grey kitchen from Superfront
With Superfront, you can choose from a variety of kitchen doors in carefully selected shades of grey. Before ordering an entire kitchen, you can of course order both wood and colour samples to ensure that the colour meets your wishes before making a purchase. In addition to these colours, you can also choose doors in a custom NCS colour to get exactly the colour you want.

Grey kitchens in cold shades
Cool grey colours can be used to create a modern and minimalist feel in the kitchen. If you like grey kitchens and want to add a sense of nature, you can choose one of Superfront's doors in grey stained wood veneer. Thunder Wood is a sober dark grey shade with discreet charm, which in a gentlemanly way highlights other colours and materials. As wood is a living material, the colour, grain and texture can vary, bringing life to your kitchen and creating a slightly softer feel.
Grey kitchens in neutral and warmer shades
If you want a more neutral light grey tone, you can choose the colour Ashton Grey – named after the colour of the ashes of a extinguished fire. It is so discreet that in some lights it can appear almost white. For a warmer feel, you can choose Desert Sand, which is on the borderline between grey and beige. Desert Sand is a colour that exudes understated elegance and blends well with most colours and woods.
