Supersink – timeless design in timeless materials
Supersink is an elegant, round sink that is placed on top of the worktop. The sink is available in several metals: brass, copper and stainless steel.

Stylish sink in stainless steel.
While the sinks in untreated brass and copper get a flattering patina with time, stainless steel is a material that seems to stay forever young. Supersink in steel is therefore suitable for those who prefer a shiny surface that does not change much over time.
The stylish washbasin is easy to match with other details in the bathroom, such as mixer taps, legs and handles in steel, aluminium or chrome.

Supersink suits both modern and classic bathrooms.
Timeless design has a fantastic ability to blend into most environments. As an example of this, we have sneaked Supersink into the Hallwyl House in Stockholm – an inspiring environment that was created more than a hundred years ago.
In the bathroom, that was remarkably modern at that time, the walls as well as the bathtub are in Carrara marble – the same beautiful stone that our bathroom tops are made of. Here they had access to both hot and cold water, an unusual luxury asset for the time, which was regulated by elegant knobs in brass.
Even though it is over a hundred years since the bathroom was built, the interior and materials last to this day. That's what we call timeless design! And the fact that Supersink blends so well into the environment says a lot, right?

Timeless and sustainable materials that age beautifully.
Below you can see and read about the different metals that Supersink is made of. Even though they differ in character and qualities, they have one thing in common – they age beautifully! Read more about how to take care of your Supersink in our care instructions.
Copper
With its warm luster, copper adds a unique character to the room. The metal has been processed by humans for more than 10,000 years and is 100% recyclable – almost 80% of all copper that has been mined so far is still in use! This makes it a sustainable material and we are proud to use it in its natural, untreated state.
Over time, copper gets a beautiful patina that changes from a subdued red-brown to almost black to a beautiful light green shade – verdigris – which you sometimes see on really old roofs. But for this to develop naturally takes more than a hundred years. We love it when copper gets a little patina, but for those who want to preserve its original luster, just polish it!
Brass
Brass is an alloy between copper and zinc that in a polished state resembles gold – it has the same warm, luxurious luster. However, products sold as "gold-coloured" seldom consist of either gold or brass but only have a coating that might eventually fade away. Since we want our products to last over time, we are careful to only use solid, untreated brass.
Over time, the brass gets a patina that makes it a little less shiny and darker in colour, something that we think only adds grace and dignity. But just like with copper, simply polish the brass and it will be like new again!
Stainless steel
Stainless steel consists of iron that has been alloyed with chromium to stay spotless and free from rust. The first attempts to create stainless steel were made in the end of the 19th century and has since become immensely popular in many areas of use due to its qualities. Looking around in your everyday life, you will find it almost everywhere – in door handles, kitchen sinks, pots and cutlery!
The material's ability to stay free from rust simply makes it very practical – but it is also popular for aesthetic reasons. During the 1930s, stylish details in stainless steel were commonly seen and still are today!
