Questions & answers
about wardrobes

We have chosen to make our wardrobe doors for Pax 4 cm longer than Ikea's in order to cover the Pax plinth that would otherwise be visible. Our fronts end 2 cm from the floor compared to the Ikea fronts that end 6 cm from the floor. Besides that, the dimensions are the same.

All our wardrobe doors for Pax are 16 mm. The sides are 8 mm, which gives a neat and elegant expression to your wardrobe.

It is possible, but it requires that you are real handy and build a steady frame structure in the hollow base of Pax frame. This is nothing we recommend - also, it will be more difficult to reach the clothes at the top if the wardrobe is on legs.

Good to know when you plan the interior of your Pax wardrobe.

On a Pax wardrobe that is 236 cm high, the hinges should be placed as follows, counted from above:
Hinge 1, hole number: 3 & 4
Hinge 2, hole number: 32 & 33
Hinge 3, hole number: 38 & 39
Hinge 4, hole number: 67 & 68

On a Pax wardrobe that is 201 cm high, the hinges should be placed as follows, counted from above:
Hinge 1, hole number: 1 & 2
Hinge 2, hole number: 29 & 30
Hinge 3, hole number: 58 & 59

Yes, you can. Keep in mind that the door opens when you apply pressure on the very spot where the handle is mounted, so choose the location carefully and remember it so you don't have to give the wardrobe a full body massage every time you want to open it. In a frame with two doors where there is no partition wall, you can mount the handles on a shelf.
